Howdy, I'm Andrea Mikee Brosas Orencia

Howdy! My name is Mikee, and I'm a senior Industrial Engineering major at Texas A&M University Class of 2021... A-Whoop! I'll be joining TE Connectivity as a Project Manager Engineer after my graduation.

I was part of the Fall 2019 APM Candidates and I have been an officer at APM since Spring 2020. Besides APM, I am also involved in SWE (Society of Women Engineers) where I got to be a part of the Outreach Committee to help educate elementary, middle, and high school about engineering. I do not have any research experience, but I have been a Student Assistant at TAMU in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering since Fall 2019 where I got to help in classes such as ISEN 230, ISEN 302, and ISEN 370. As for industry experience, I have interned three times at a company called TE Connectivity. I got my first internship through the SWE National Conference. During my internship, I got to travel to North Carolina for my first two summers working in their manufacturing plant as a Quality Systems Intern and Quality Systems & Engineering Intern. For my last internship, I worked remotely from home as a Project Management Intern. That is all my experience as of now.
