Howdy, I'm Chase Dickson

Howdy! My name is Chase Dickson. I am pursuing a bachelor's in Industrial & Systems Engineering with an expected graduation in May of 2021.

In the summer of 2020 I had an internship canceled due to COVID-19, so I had to improvise and find unconventional experiences. I participated in the Dell Technologies Business Immersion for Engineers program and placed 1st in a business plan case competition while leading a team of 6. Additionally that summer I received my six sigma green belt and my lean green belt from IISE. More recently I was selected to be apart of a two-person team representing Texas A&M in the 4th Annual Lockheed Martin Ethics in Engineering Case Competition. My teammate and I placed 1st against 26 other universities in a case that involved hypersonics/supersonics with engineering, ethical, and business dilemmas. I'm currently on a senior design capstone project for Lockheed Martin, and I'm using system simulation to assist the LM team with their new F-16 fuel tank and inlet assembly production facility. I'm a part of the Texas A&M IISE chapter and reside on the internal development committee. Lastly, I've been involved with Sigma Chi by serving as the Derby Days Chairman where I ran a weeklong philanthropy event for 8 sororities, over 500 participants, and helped raise over $20,000 for different philanthropic causes.
